Des Moines Symphony to present “The Music of Queen” on Nov. 11

The Des Moines Symphony begins its 2017-2018 Pops Series with “The Music of Queen” at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 11 at the Des Moines Civic Center, 221 Walnut Street, Des Moines.

The Des Moines Symphony “will rock you” with the classic music of Queen in this electric symphonic-rock celebration. Performed by the Des Moines Symphony and amplified with a full rock band complete with Brody Dolyniuk’s soaring vocals, the ensemble captures Queen’s distinct sound from “Somebody to Love” to “Under Pressure,” “Bohemian Rhapsody” and more. Don’t miss this one-of-a-kind celebration of one of the most iconic bands in history!

CONCERT TICKETS
Single tickets start at $35 and are available online through dmsymphony.org (up until two hours prior to performances) and at the Civic Center Ticket Office (515-246-2300, 221 Walnut St., Des Moines; open 9 a.m. – 5p.m. Monday through Friday and two hours prior to performances). All ticket prices will increase by $5 on the day of the concert. Pending availability, tickets will be available at the door.
