Ghost coming to Ames in November

Heads up, Ames: a Ghost is coming.

That’s right, one of the most talked about rock bands in years — Ghost — is coming to Stephens Auditiorium on Nov. 4 in support of their “A Pale Tour Named Death” trek across the country this fall.

The Swedish heavy metalers have just released a new album, “Prequelle,” and are riding the wave of sudden surge in popularity, thanks mostly in part to founder, front man and creative force, Tobias Forge. Ghost has released four albums since 2010 and have won a number of awards, including a Grammy for Best Metal Performance in 2016.

Tickets for the all ages show go on sale Friday, June 15 starting at 12 p.m. Tickets will be available at Ticketmaster.com , in person at Iowa State Center Ticket Office, or by phone at 800-745-3000. Tickets are $27.50, $39.50, $49.50 & $74.50. Ticket prices increase $5.50 day of show. Showtime is 8 p.m.
