LOCASH scores nominations for 53rd Academy of Country Music Awards

Reviver Records breakout duo LOCASH continues to prove their status as one of Country’s most promising acts with two nominations at the upcoming 53rd Academy of Country Music Awards™. Setting the tone for a stellar 2018, the pair will compete for Vocal Duo of the Year as well as New Vocal Duo or Group of the Year to be broadcasted live on the CBS Television Network on Sunday, April 15.

“Waking up to two ACM nominations is like waking up on Christmas morning. Such a special gift and one we don’t take for granted. We have been blown away by all of the congratulations and well wishes!” said Preston Brust of LOCASH.

“It’s an honor to be nominated for an ACM award, and having two nominations is a feeling we’ll never forget! Thank you to Country radio for every spin, thank you to everyone who believed in us and thank you to the ACM for this amazing moment!” added LOCASH’s Chris Lucas.

The announcement adds fuel to the twosome’s red-hot career following their first round of awards show recognition in 2017, a pair of GOLD-certified singles and the release of chart-rising energetic anthem “Don’t Get Better Than That.” Co-penning the ode to life’s most unforgettable moments (alongside Lindsay Rimes and Phil Barton), LOCASH “double down on the glass-half-full attitude” (Billboard) with the lead single from their forthcoming Reviver Records sophomore album.

After a high-profile performance for an all-star crowd during Super Bowl LII celebrations, the duo is rolling full force through a jam-packed schedule of headlining shows across the U.S. Beginning March 30 they will hit the road with Billy Currington, bringing their “arena rock swagger” (Rolling Stone) and renowned party-starting energy as direct support for the Country hit maker through September.
