Scott Stapp/Weapons of Anew to play Wild Rose Casino in Jefferson

Former Creed vocalist Scott Stapp returns to Iowa at the Wild Rose Casino in Jefferson on July 6 alongside melodic metal band Weapons of Anew, who are working on a new studio album to be issued in early 2020.

Weapons of Anew has opened for the likes of Alter Bridge, Tesla, and Metal Allegiance, and will be performing cuts from their latest album, “The Collision of Love and Hate,” including the latest single, “Killshot.” The album was released by OK Good Records in September 2017.

The tour kicked off on June 20 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, and will wrap up on Aug. 8 in Nashville, Tennessee.
