When The Rad Trads met in the East Village in the Spring of 2012, they were looking to play with the best musicians they could find. Making rent playing gigs in every bar and beer hall that would have them, the guys dominated New York City with their soulful American music, punk-rock energy and showmanship, powerful horns, driving rhythm section, and four captivating lead vocalists. Members of The Rad Trads have performed or recorded with St. Paul & the Broken Bones, Deer Tick, Lee Fields, Jonathan Batiste, Sarah Jarosz, David Duchovny, Red Baraat & even Paul McCartney as well as leading their own critically acclaimed bands.

Experience the music of 70s rock duo Seals & Crofts in a whole new way. Hear the hits “Summer Breeze,” “Diamond Girl,” and “We May Never Pass This Way (Again),” artfully re-imagined with a reverent nod to the past. Seals & Crofts 2 is comprised of Brady Seals (cousin to James “Jim” Seals) and Lua Crofts (daughter of Darrell “Dash” Crofts). Brady has sold over 11 million albums and topped three genres simultaneously. He is probably best known for his tenure in the 1990s as keyboardist and co-lead singer in the Grammy nominated group “Little Texas.” Seals co-wrote three consecutive No. 1 songs for the band (“What Might Have Been,” “God Blessed Texas,” and “My Love”) winning him ASCAP’s Triple Play award.

Karen and Richard Carpenter often kept things simple on stage, performing as just a duo. But to create the full, rich sound on their albums, they had several additional musicians join in, making lush arrangements and creating unforgettable music. To bring you that same sound, “Close to You: The Music of the Carpenters,” features Lisa Rock on lead vocals with her six-piece backing band. Karen Carpenter captured the attention of a generation with her unabashedly catchy pop music. The Carpenters’ beautiful, memorable love songs topped the Billboard charts with more than a dozen No. 1 hits. “Close to You: The Music of the Carpenters” brings these classics back to the stage with spot-on renditions performed by singer Lisa Rock and her six-piece band.
