Motley Crue to play Iowa State Fair
Motley Crue, fresh out of retirement, will be taking the stage at the 2024 Iowa State Fair on Aug. 14 at 8 p.m. Pop Evil will open the show.
Tickets will run $60-$125 and will be available Friday, Feb. 9 beginning at 10 a.m. at https://www.iowastatefair.org/entertainment/grandstand.
Hailing from Los Angeles, Motley Crue — Vince Neil (vocals), Nikki Sixx (bass), Tommy Lee (drums) and John 5 (guitars) — has sold over 100 million albums worldwide, garnered 7 USA platinum and multi-platinum albums, 22 Top 40 mainstream rock hits, 6 Top 20 pop singles, 3 Grammy nominations, 5 New York Times best-selling books, a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and a Netflix hit movie. The 2024 Iowa State Fair Grandstand lineup will include Lauren Daigle with special guest Blessing Offor (Aug. 8), Foreigner with special guest Melissa Etheridge (Aug. 9), Jelly Roll with special guest DAX (Aug. 10), Thomas Rhett (Aug. 13), NE-YO with special guest Eric Bellinger (Aug. 17), and the KIDZ BOP LIVE 2024 tour (Aug. 18) are already on sale. The final four concerts will be announced in the coming weeks.
