Pork Tornadoes to play the Surf Ballroom

Iowa’s most popular cover band, the Pork Tornadoes, will make an appearance at the Surf Ballroom in Clear Lake on Friday, Nov. 24 at 8 p.m.

Tickets are $18 in advance and $23 at the door and can be purchased online at SurfBallroom.com.

Playing all your favorite pop/rock hits from the 1980s-today and specializing in girl pop songs ranging from Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Justin Timberlake, Beyonce, Lizzo, The Killers, Coolio and Phil Collins.

Their debut EP peaked on the Apple iTunes Pop charts at #20 and was streamed over half a million times in 2020. They recently achieved viral success with the fifth-most viewed cover of “Tennessee Whiskey” on Youtube and an impromptu performance of ‘In The Air Tonight’ with a drum line that was featured in Rolling Stone.
