The Chicks added to Iowa State Fair grandstand lineup

Grammy Award-winning country artists The Chicks will make a stop at the Iowa State Fair on Saturday, Aug. 19 on their 2023 World Tour. Special guest will be Ben Harper.

Tickets on sale Thursday, Feb. 16 at 10 a.m. Prices range from $60-$125.

After nearly 14 years, The Chicks — Martie Maguire, Natalie Maines and Emily Strayer — released their fifth studio album, “Gaslighter,” in July 2020 via Columbia Records. The 12-track record was co-produced by award-winning singer-songwriter, producer Jack Antonoff. Earning universal recognition as the biggest-selling U.S. female band of all time, The Chicks have sold more than 30.5 million albums and are the only female group to achieve multiple “diamond” selling (10 million copies) releases.
